Shipping & Collections

Thank you for considering purchasing one of my knives! I am pleased to be able to offer worldwide shipping.

To find out the shipping cost of your order, please add items to the shopping cart, proceed to checkout and select your country, shipping method and payment method. The system will then calculate your shipping costs and the total cost of your order.

Shipping methods

International customers (anyone based outside of South Africa) may order online. International shipping charges will apply. Feel free to contact me for an International Shipping Estimate before placing an order.

  • International orders are shipped via the following international couriers (ICT or DHL Express). They are both dependable and include full tracking for peace of mind.
  • Domestic orders are delivered via courier to your door throughout South Africa via The Courier Guy or Postnet.

In some rare cases, there may be delays with international shipments due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.


Shipping will be paid for by the Purchaser in the amount agreed upon between Topham Knife Co and the Purchaser at the time of purchase.

By placing an order for items to be shipped internationally, you are accepting our International Shipping cost as the official shipping cost. All shipping fees must be collected/paid before the item(s) ship.

Every effort is taken to ensure that shipping costs are fair and are fully tracked from end to end. Insurance may be taken however this usually has additional charges.

I do not make a profit on shipping.

How long will it take to receive my knife?

International deliveries will take 5 to 7 business days depending on the country. This does not include delays due to Customs Inspections.

For domestic orders, allow 3 business days for delivery depending on where you are in the country (main centres vs rural).


As soon as your order has been dispatched, I will send you an e-mail notification containing a tracking number that you can use to trace your parcel. (Click to view the applicable tracking portal: Aftership, DHL Track & Trace or ICT Live Tracking, Postnet, The Courier Guy).

You can enable email notifications as info becomes available.

Can I collect my order?

You may opt to collect your order by selecting the “Collect” delivery option during Checkout. Please note that I am based in the upper highway area of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. If you live along way away from me, I hope you enjoy driving.

Can I send a knife as a present/gift to someone?

Yes. Absolutely. Knives make wonderful presents that can be treasured for a lifetime. If you give me all the relevant information of the recipient, your order can sent directly to them. 

Be sure to confirm/check with me regarding delivery dates as I may not be able to meet the required delivery time at short notice.

Please do not use this option to bypass custom declarations.


While I’m knowledgeable of CITES, it is impossible that I know every species and or the regulations of your country/region of residence. It is your responsibility to know the applicable laws for your place of residence.

Should the knife comprise of CITES-protected materials, the relevant documentation will need to accompany the knife during transport from me to your chosen destination. This documentation may require additional fees to be levied.

It is recommended to keep these documents with the knife, should you ever wish to sell them. These documents may also be needed for cross-country/state travel as well.


Customers placing orders to be shipped internationally take all responsibility for any customs fees, duty taxes and import fees associated with the shipment.

I can only guarantee your order up to the point of entry and your country’s customs office, border agency, or government receives the package for inspection.¬†After this, it becomes the Purchaser’s responsibility. I am not responsible for confiscation, loss or theft whilst the orders is with authorities. Should it be confiscated by authorities, the full value of the items will not be refunded to you.

Please refer to the laws of your country before placing an order. I will work with you to ensure any requirements, paperwork, etc are completed and available if needed.
